Douentza Cercle is an administrative subdivision of the Mopti Region that is claimed by Mali but considered part of the de facto independent state of Azawad by the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad. It is the southernmost part of the Azawad, according to the MNLA's territorial claim. The administrative center (chef-lieu) is the town of Douentza.
